Looks and sounds amazing and (after the many crazy cities we've visited in the last two weeks) like a small but perfect piece of paradise. Laos sounds so cool, really envious that we couldn't visit there and north Vietnam, reckon you have so many treats ahead of you...Ho Chi Minh gave us a small peak at yet another beautiful country and people with a very sad history. keep on rollin down the mekong river, quite an experience isn't it! take care, x fi Hey Roger, in Bangkok now but heading down to Ko Tao this evening so had a wee look at your pics and text to get an idea of what lies ahead. ]]> By: Andrew http://untitled-project.com/2004/09/24/ko-tao-times/comment-page-1/#comment-34 Andrew Sat, 25 Sep 2004 13:28:57 +0000 http://www.untitled-project.com/?p=17#comment-34 Hey Rog, Yeah there was turtles there apparently up until the mid nineties when the tourist boom happened, then they all buggered off elsewhere to get some peace and quiet while they are mating (wouldnt we all?) hahaha yes I still "let my hair down" even though the reality of that isnt really possible anymore :) Don't worry mate, it's just that massive intelligence makin some more room and pushing those pesky hairs outta the way. man it sounds awesome, surprised you haven't bumped into half a million kiwis yet, everywhere I've gone there has always been a million of us buggers. p.s. dont forget the simple pleasure that can be had from just snorkling, even though i dive it's still just awesome grabbing a mask and some fins and getting amongst those sharks and water snakes (it was amazing just how fast i was able to run through the water while being chased by a coral snake in oz hahaha) Hey Rog,

Watch it with the cocktails in the buckets when we experience those we couldn't sleep till 10am the next day, but we had three of them so that might explain it - do you know whats in them cause I can give you a cool recipe if you want. You poor thing we do feel very sorry for you and the hard life you are having. Only one fan (that rarely works) having to lie on the deck on a tropical island, forceing yourself to party till the wee hours of the morning, socialising with canadian woman, almost effectiveless hangovers and then you've got to sit through lectures - sounds like hell mate.
